Villa Ermelinda is located in Baveno, a small town overlooking Lake Maggiore, in the elegant Golfo Borromeo. 

We recommend to come by car, or to make arrangements with private drivers or taxis. We can of course facilitate if needed. 

  • If you're in Milan. Drive on the highway A8, the Milano-Laghi, for about 90 Km towards Gravellona Toce. Exit at Baveno and you will be at Villa Ermelinda in just five minutes. If you're travelling by train, we recommend boarding the Eurocity train (direction Basel or Brig), get off in Stresa and take a cab to Baveno (15mins). 

  • If you land at Milano Malpensa Airport. You are about 50 km away from Villa Ermelinda. We can arrange a private transfer (45mins) or you can make your own arrangements/rent a car.

  • If you're travelling across Switzerland. You will go through the border at Piaggio Valmara and drive on the panoramic SS34 along the lake. When at Fondotoce, continue on the SS33 until Baveno.
